The Group has more than 25 years of operating history in the brush industry.
1992
▪ The history of our Group can be traced back to 1992 with the formation of Yew Lee Machinery & Industrial Supplies (YLMIS), a partnership established by Ang Lee Leong and Chong Yoke Choong, to undertake the trading of industrial hardware and machinery parts at a rented double-storey shoplot at Jalan Bijeh Timah, Ipoh, Perak. However, in 1993, Chong Yoke Choong decided to leave the partnership and Ang Lee Seng joined YLMIS as our Sales and Purchasing Manager.
1992 – 1999
▪ Our group continued to focus on the trading and supply of industrial hardware and machinery parts to engineering companies within Perak.
2000
▪ Yew Lee Pacific Manufacturer (Formerly known as YL Easy Control Sdn Bhd) was established to undertake the distribution of measurement and control systems for liquids and gases to rubber glove manufacturers in Peninsular Malaysia.
2001
▪ Yew Lee Pacific Holding Sdn Bhd was established to undertake the trading of industrial hardware and machinery parts business activities and at the same time expand product offerings and services to customers.
2004
▪ we started YLPM’s operations in a double-storey shoplot unit located at Kawasan Perindustrian Bandar Baru, Ipoh with 2 manufacturing lines. We were able to undertake in-house manufacturing of industrial brushes and further expanded our range of industrial brushes offered to our customers.
2006
▪ We relocated our manufacturing operations to a detached factory and office at Kawasan Perindustrian Bandar Baru Menglembu, Ipoh, Perak and expanded to 3 manufacturing lines in order to fulfil the additional demand received for our range of industrial brushes.
2008
▪ Yew Lee Pacific Manufacturer’s QMS was assessed and accredited with ISO 9001:2000 in compliance with the scope of manufacturing of consumer and industrial brushes.
2009
▪ Yew Lee Pacific Holding established Klang Sales Office to better serve customers in the central region of Peninsular Malaysia.
2012
▪ The group relocated the manufacturing facilities to a single-storey factory with a built-up area of 32,938 sq ft at Kawasan Perindustrian Pengkalan II, Mukim Perak, Ipoh with new plastic injection moulding machines, which allows us to produce various types of plastic cores for use in our industrial brushes in-house.
2016
▪ Continued expansion of facilities with additional 44,563 sq ft single-storey warehouse building and three-storey hostel building adjacent to the existing manufacturing facilities.
▪ Yew Lee Pacific Manufacturer was awarded with the Golden Bull Award 2019 for being an outstanding SME in Malaysia
▪ The group also expanded our sales and marketing offices regionally to:

▪ With the continuous support from our stakeholders, both of our subsidiaries (YLPH and YLPM) was listed as the first PLC in the category of the Manufacturing of Industrial and Household Brush segment in Malaysia.
▪ Responding to the escalating demand in Thailand, the group made the strategic decision to establish a new manufacturing plant in Hatyai, Thailand with the name Yew Lee Pacific (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
▪ Yew Lee Pacific Manufacturer was awarded with Anugerah Majikan Terbaik Tahun 2024 by KWSP Negeri Perak.

Our Group traces its origins to 1992 with the establishment of Yew Lee Machinery & Industrial Supplies (YLMIS), founded by Ang Lee Leong and Chong Yoke Choong to trade industrial hardware and machinery parts from a rented double-storey shoplot at Jalan Bijeh Timah, Ipoh, Perak. YLPM commenced operations at a double-storey shoplot in Kawasan Perindustrian Bandar Baru, Ipoh, with two manufacturing lines, enabling in-house production and expansion of our industrial brush range.

We relocated to a detached factory and office at Kawasan Perindustrian Bandar Baru Menglembu, Ipoh, Perak, and expanded to three manufacturing lines to meet growing demand for our industrial brushes.
